  • Yoko, Junko, Ikuno, and Ayumi form the band noodles in Yokohama.
  • noodles begins performing live shows in Yokohama.

  • 1994

  • noodles is signed to Benten Label.

  • 1995

  • The Gravity Thief is released.
  • noodles writes a song for a Coca Cola commercial, which becomes a radio hit in Japan.

  • 1997

  • Album Slow Coaster is released.

  • 1998

  • Single Deep beyond the dream is released.

  • 1999

  • Album 6 Colors is released.
  • DELICIOUS LABEL (Sawao Yamanaka from the pillows) signs on noodles.
  • noodles begins focusing on producing albums and touring Japan.
  • Albums lite pop and rainbow are released.

  • 2000

  • Single Booster is released.

  • 2001

  • Single HUSH BELL is released.
  • Album long long chain is released.

  • 2002

  • noodles BE@RBRICK toy for long long chain is produced.
  • Single Lesson 1 is released.
  • noodles BE@RBRICK toy for Lesson 1 is produced.

  • 2003

  • Album GOD CABLE is released.
  • noodles opens for their heroes, THE BREEDERS.
  • noodles goes on their first tour in the United States.

  • 2004

  • Album Fuzz hill is released.
  • Lead guitarist Junko leaves the band for personal reasons.

  • 2005

  • Album ivy is released.
  • noodles joins the pillows in the United States for the DELICIOUS BUMP TOUR.

  • 2006

  • Radio show Hot Splash is started on Shibuya FM.
  • Album Cover Me Shakespeare is released.
  • noodles is solicited for the soundtrack to the movie Love My Life, and writes 2 new songs for the movie: Ever Catch and LOVE MY LIFE.

  • 2007

  • Soundtrack for the movie Love My Life is released, solely featuring noodles.
  • Glasgow Girl is used as the opening theme song for the Japanese TV series Senjo no GAARUZU RAIFU (Battlefield of a Girl's Life).
  • Album METROPOLIS is released.

  • 2008

  • Album SNAP is released.

  • 2009

  • noodles records their first songs abroad in San Francicso: Heidi Club, Bond, and Electric the Sun.
  • noodles tours California, releasing live clips in album/DVD THE MUSIC MOVES ME.
  • Best-of album our first noodles is released.

  • 2010

  • Mellow Metallica is used as the theme song for the movie Sentou Shoujo: Chi no Tekkamen Densetsu (Fighting Girls: Legend of the Blood of the Iron Mask); the English title of the movie is Mutant Girls Squad.
  • Album Explorer is released.

  • 2011

  • noodles celebrates their 20th anniversary with a live concert at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO, which is featured on the DVD We Are noodles.

  • 2012

  • Album Funtime is released.

  • 2013

  • noodles releases cover album MAKE UP TO BREAK UP, featuring covers of various artists including Green Day, The Pixies, and Weezer.
  • Yoko performs her very first live shows, playing some original songs written by her as well as solo versions of noodles songs.
