In 1999, Yoko joined the pillows in the recording room to do the background vocals for the song Back seat dog. And she sounds absolutely adorable! Later Sawao Yamanaka (the "Yoko" of the pillows, if you will), returned the favor by singing background vocals for Yoko in the song Half metronome from album long long chain. Back seat dog is from album Happy Bivouc by the pillows.
the pillows is a Japanese J-rock band of similar style to noodles. Sawao Yamanaka is a producer for DELICIOUS LABEL, to which noodles is currently signed. noodles often tours with the pillows in the United States.
